About Us

Esperanza (Hope) is a Hardcore Metal Industrial project formed in 2002 in the City of C?rdoba (Argentina) by the local musician Pablo Chavez after deciding to end his band Funeral Funny (1989-1998) and several failed attempts to build a new one.

In 2003, with the help and collaboration of Ezekiel Takaya (Uncouth) on vocals and Diego Estevez on bass, Esperanza released their first E.P. entitled "El Fin De La Oscuridad" ("The End Of The Darkness"). Works as a special guest Carlos Gori Loncharich (Minor?a Activa, Catarsis, Fun People, Fantasmagoria) on acoustic guitars.

The art of cover and the engravings included in the internal book belong to plastic artist from Cordoba Veronica A. Meloni.

In 2004, is published by an initiative of Ynsanity - El Fanzine Digital , the compilation "Ynsanity II", a double album with local bands, including your CD B, song of the project.

And finally, in 2012, is published the second album "La rEvoluci?n De Los Corazones" ("The Revolution of Hearts"). Which is inspired by the documental film recorded live at the Oxford Debating Society Union, the English writer and lecturer David Icke.

The presentation of it is in digipack format of 2 bodies, includes 8 tracks, and participate in David "El Fonsi" Lucero (Hep?tica, Paralelo 8) on vocals, Sebastian Teves (Sur Oculto, Fat Grass, Es Lo Que Hay) and Jos? Gutierrez (Conejito Prieto, Sadisctic Kill, Inhumation, Viejos Culiados) in bass, Agust?n Z?rate (Kaos Represivo, Hardlife, Vagazos) on drums and programming and Pablo D. Chavez (Funeral Funny, L.E.N.A.) on guitars, vocals, drums and programming.

It also has the special collaboration of James Fogarty (The Blacksmoke Organisation, The Bombs Of Enduring Freedom, Ewigkeit, Jaldaboath) by a remix that closes the disc.

The artwork and the illustrations were created in Monterrey (Mexico), by artist Fabiola Garibaldy Iba?ez.

Note that the work (like "El Fin De La Oscuridad") is licensed under a Creative Commons license.

Currently, Esperanza is dedicated to spread the new album, and the search of a stable line up for play at live.

Simultaneously, works in the pre-production of their third record, which surely will be ready by mid-2014.
