About Us

Really proud of their origins and their homeland, the group has folk influences, but remains essentially a metal band! With notes thrash, melodic death and epicgothic. 2010 "Horns Helmet Fighters" 2012 "The Slamming of 1000 Shields" 2014 will be released on new album.

Some fans have asked the meaning of the name "CELTIC HILLS."

In Italy, in the northeast of the country, the region is called Friuli. This name comes from the Forum Julii, a city founded by Julius Caesar.

This portion is called the Friuli Collio (colli in Italian means hills). The ancient Romans arrived in Friuli in 283 bC when these territories were of Celtic peoples. Jonathan Vanderbilt, passionate about archeology, writing at the University of Udine, has combined his passion for the Celtic people with music and inspired by the area where he lives, he decided to call the band with the name of the territory by adding the adjective Celtic. Immagginando so the green hills and large lawns as they were 2500 years ago, before the arrival of the Romans.
