About Us

Shotgun Rebellion bleeds southern tradition, it is as simple as that. Formed in the southeast Oklahoma town of Ada, "Shotgun Rebellion's" Rick Davis (vocals / guitar), Eric Hatcher (bass), Wes Wallace (Guitar) and Johni Walker (drums) have come together to capture one of music s most prized and forgotten ingredients the Soul.

Creatively blending elements of classic southern rock icons such as Lynrd Skynryd and the Allman Borthers , country legends Johnny Cash , Hank Williams Jr. , and David Alan Coe and Hard Rock and Metal artists Zakk Wylde s Black Label Society, "Down", "Corrosion of Conformity", "Pantera", "Black Sabbath" and "Led Zeppelin with a touch of the Blues Shotgun Rebellion combines these influences into a big ol kettle, brilliantly pulling out a sound that crosses many genres. With lyrical roots and ideals of outlaw country, the groove and feel of southern rock, peppered with the flavors and intensity of metal Shotgun Rebellion delivers a music gumbo with a whiskey kick.
