Impulsive Aggression is an assault of thick crunchy guitars, thunderous bass, hardcore/modern vocals and pounding drums. Drummer Craig Henry and Joe Paniagua started what is now known as Impulsive Aggression. In 2006, while both Craig and Joe were searching for musicians to jam with, they ran across each other in ads and decided to jam. With Joe's straight up metal guitar stylings and his tight picking and Craig's pounding and technical drumming, they were a perfect match. Next was the finding the right bass player. After searching high and low, Craig and Joe found a wicked bass player. With his tight thunderous bass playing and his metal influence, he was definitely the right bass player for the job. The search continued for the right vocalist to be the final piece to the puzzle. They finally found him after countless tryouts, vocalists coming and going, they turned to Joe Paniagua's kid brother, Rich Morales, who has toured and been with the band since day one as Joe's Roadie. His dedication and loyalty along with with his hardcore screams and his raw energy made him the absolute right guy for the job.
With influences rooted in old school Thrash Metal, Impulsive Aggression has a sound all of its own. IA has been compared to sounding like Pantera meets Sepultura with a Nu Metal twist. Definitely a punch in the face of pure brutality and raw energy. Impulsive Aggression continues to set the pace for their shows and have been criticized for being too heavy for some clubs that invited them. To them, that is a compliment!
