Hi, my name is Dani Gebert and I'm the bass player of Driven Under.

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

DRIVEN UNDER

Our band name is Driven Under. The band has seen some changes in musicians in it ranks, which led to the band’s name and shaped today’s mix of styles.

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

DRIVEN UNDER

Vocals: Patric Bouffé, Guitars: Bojan Vidak and Steven Hohl, Drums: Fabian Koch, Bass: Dani Gebert

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

DRIVEN UNDER

It’s a mix of thrash metal with a pinch of NWoBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal). A unique feature is the voice of Patric. His voice is similar to that of Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. But that was never his goal.

What bands have influenced each of you?

DRIVEN UNDER

Our influences are so different. But i can name our favorite bands: Patric & Bojan: Iron Maiden, Steven: Pantera, Fabian: Lamb of God, Dani: Böhse Onkelz

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

DRIVEN UNDER

Stage virgins we are no longer definite. But on the best way to become whores! Hahahaha!

How would you describe your shows?

DRIVEN UNDER

Our shows are entertaining shows, in sound, image and light. We have every song either a stage show of Patric or cool and great wallpapers.

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

DRIVEN UNDER

I think it was in September 2014 when we supported the US band „Pentagram“, on their single show in Switzerland.

Tell us about your worst show and why?

DRIVEN UNDER

Oh that reminds me spontaneously a show in a biker bar in eastern Switzerland. Great location, but only a handful of guests. The atmosphere was lousy.

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

DRIVEN UNDER

There are many bands with bands with whom we would like to play. Certainly times with our favorite bands, but also Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, etc. Where: Wacken Openair Germany, Greenfield Festival Switzerland, Rock in Rio Brazil and many more.

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

DRIVEN UNDER

No. We do not have a street team.

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

DRIVEN UNDER

No. We also have no label. Yes, we are always in contact with large and small labels and give us feedback. We’ll see what the future will bring. We are definitely open to inquiries from labels.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

DRIVEN UNDER

Record our first album, designing new merchandise, find a record label, the band tours in Europe or the whole world.

Finally, do have any words on what Arm The Pit means to you?

DRIVEN UNDER

I think arm the pit a good thing. They support young or good bands an gives them a platform. There are now so many bands and such platforms like Arm the Pit separate the wheat from the chaff, as we say in German. Hahaha!
