Rivet is a riff-driven, heavy rock band formed in Los Angeles, California. The beginnings of Rivet's signature sound was crafted by lead song writer and guitarist Mat Rile who teamed up with vocalist Sleight Hammond to lay down a distinctly primitive and raspy tone. Later augmented with thick bass lines from Tom Bielek and heavy drum sound of David Krause, the complete band delivers an audible texture of mammoth proportions. The songwriting incorporates catchy riffs, full power, and plenty of attitude from end to end.
