What is the title of your upcoming CD? How did you come up with the name?
CYANIDE
It's called Lethal Dose. We recorded 11 songs we felt really good about. No filler. A very well rounded album. So we considered it a Lethal Dose of Cyanide. Not to mention there's a pair of giant breasts on the cover!

ATP
Is this your first CD and if not, how is this one different from the others?
CYANIDE
This is in fact the debut album from Cyanide. 11 songs of sex, sleaze, booze and debauchery.

ATP
Did you write all the songs before going into the studio or did you write them as you were recording?
CYANIDE
A little of both. We were constantly tweaking them as we went along. Especially in regards to guitar solos and vocals.

Walk us thru the process of writing your music?
CYANIDE
Marc, our guitarist and I, we started writing this album before we even had a band. The songs I brought in would be completely arranged with vocals, drums, bass and rhythm guitar. Marc would tweak riffs, add melodies and solos and just take it to the next level. Songs he brought in would be a finished idea as well. A 90 second piece of music for instance, with drum machine and killer vocal ideas. I would add live drum tracks and polish up the vocals much the same way he would polish up my guitar parts. 2 tracks, It's a Long Road and What Comes Around Goes Around, we're written with dear friends of mine, Danny Goldstein and Rick Pierce. Bitches to Blame I co-wrote with my friend Chris Moran.

Where did you record and why?
CYANIDE
We tracked the album ourselves at Marc's home studio, pretty much because we could. It was mixed and mastered at Constantine studios by Jason Constantine. He did an amazing job giving it a massive, Bob Rock type production.

ATP
HHow did you pay for your recording?
CYANIDE
Marc owns his own rig. The rest of it, the cds, T-shirts, posters, mixing and mastering, advertising, etc was paid for out of the bands own pocket. We saved every dime we earned from every show and put it right back into the album.

ATP
Did you have a producer or did you self-produce? If so, what kind of input did the producer have. If your self-produced, why?
CYANIDE
See above.

ATP
Did you try to capture your "live sound" or did you go for something else?
CYANIDE
When Jason Constantine began the mixing and mastering process, he asked what we wanted it to sound like. I said, I want it to sound like Bob Rock produced it. I must say, he nailed it. From that day forward, he was known as The Wizard.

ATP
Did your record label have any input into the music you recorded?
CYANIDE
No input from anyone besides the band and Jason Constantine. We straight up wanted to make an old school metal album like Too Fast For Love, High 'N Dry, Out of the Cellar, Appetite for Destruction and Van Halen I. We knew people would think we were crazy, so we didn't ask anyone's opinion!

ATP
Are you pleased with the final product?
CYANIDE
I'm more proud of this album than anything I've been involved with musically in my entire life. It came out exactly how I dreamt it would. No compromises were made.

ATP
Where will we be able to pick up a copy?
CYANIDE
It's available on iTunes, Amazon.com, Demon Doll Records, CD Baby, www.cyanideband.com, Aces High Tobacco and Gifts in Las Vegas and DIY Flavorshack in Las Vegas. It's also on Spotify, Pandora and every other streaming digital platform out there.

ATP
Will you be touring to promote your CD?
CYANIDE
We all have full time jobs and families so financially that would be difficult. We're currently just concentrating on a Las Vegas residency. If things work out that we are able to tour, we would love to play anywhere that would have us.

ATP
Would rather be recording or playing live shows?
CYANIDE
I really love doing both. Always both. To me there isn't one without the other. When my heroes no longer make music I'm gonna be one bummed out dude.

ATP
Anything you would like to say to your fans?
CYANIDE
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us and bought our album. The reaction has far surpassed our expectations. To know there are still people out there that want to hear an album like this is very liberating. We appreciate it more than you will ever know!
