For the record, who's answering the interview?

Jared, the vocalist.

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

ALL IN

Our band's name is "All In." We came up with the name because of the literal meaning haha. We were "All In" for making this band.

ATP

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

ALL IN

The band consists of:
Jared Daws (myself)- vocals
Seth Colson- bass
Dylan Lee- drums
Grayson Amacker- guitar
and we have a fill-in for our second guitarist.

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

ALL IN

Well, when I listen to our music I hear a lot of obvious melodic hardcore influence. We also really dig pop punk like The Story So Far and since I sing as well that pulls it off a bit more. Others have agreed to that. I think what makes us unique is that the music is written/edited by everyone. We don't have just one writer. I myself even helped write a couple leads so that there shows how open we are to writing with one another. It really gives a unique sound when you are considerate of 5 ideas instead of just one person's doing.

What bands have influenced each of you?

ALL IN

I can speak for all of us when I say bands like Underoath, The Story So Far, Hundredth, and Counterparts. My biggest musical influences are H.I.M., AFI, and Bullet For My Valentine. I know that sounds crazy, but those dudes really got me into wanting to perform. Still have love for each of them.

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

ALL IN

We are all pretty verse with the exception of our guitarist Grayson; however, he took to it really fast. He has been playing guitar and performing in school functions forever, just not much like this but you would never even know.

How would you describe your shows?

ALL IN

Energetic and passionate. We push our message hard and like to move.

ATP

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

ALL IN

Well, as this band we have only played a few shows. Grayson was actually the merch guy for our prior band so it's kinda hard to pick when WE as a unit are so fresh. We did however play a garage show (so punk rock lol) and that was loads of fun. Very hot, however.

Tell us about your worst show and why?

ALL IN

Well, that garage show was also our first show and while it wasn't our playing that makes me deem this as the worst show, it's just the fact that there was no micing so hearing anything was very tough.

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

ALL IN

Japan would be really awesome. We hear the best things about their support towards performing musicians.

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

ALL IN

We currently do not.

ATP

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

ALL IN

We currently do not but are nearly finished with our press kit. It would be ideal to be signed to someone who has the bands we are influenced by like Pure Noise Records. :)

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

ALL IN

We plan to be full time touring, playing for anyone and everyone.

Arm The Pit is genuinely an awesome musical community for anyone either looking to discover bands or get exposure. Fast turn around time with messaging and emails makes a stress free atmosphere which is great.
